  2. No purchase or fee necessary. To participate, users must follow @chinatownlondon and @discoverhongkong and tag one friend in the social media post promoting this prize draw.
  3. All entrants submitting a valid entry form will be entered in the prize draw.
  4. The start date for this prize draw is 18:00 on 29.09.2025 and the last entry date is 23.59 on 30.11.2025. Any entries received after the closing date will not be accepted or entered into the draw. Winners will be announced 3 days after the competition post is drawn.
  5. The Promoter reserves the right to award alternative prizes of equal or greater value, in the event that the advertised prizes become unavailable for any reason. Prizes are as stated, are not transferable and cannot be substituted for a cash alternative.

Individual Giveaway Terms & Conditions

  1. Prize consists of two (2) return Economy Class tickets to Hong Kong from London Heathrow or Manchester; 4 nights of 4 star hotel accommodations in a double room for two people with daily breakfast, return airport transfers in Hong Kong and Octopus cards (of value £50 (est HK$250 per person)) for two people.
  2. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. Not inclusive of additional expenses.

Hong Kong Tourism Board:

Accommodation

  1. Except where expressly stated in the Prize description, any accommodation is inclusive of taxes, fees, daily breakfast and related local charges but exclusive of additional food and drink.
  2. Accommodations are subject to availability, to the hotel’s terms and conditions and to any embargoed blackout dates specified in the airline’s T&Cs.

Permissions and Travel Documents

  1. The Prize Winner and any companion are responsible for obtaining and maintaining their own travel insurance, travel documents (including passports and any visas) and inoculations that may be required to visit Hong Kong or any other destination.
  2. The Prize Winner and any companion must be over 18 years of age and all passengers must hold a valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining on the date of the return trip.

Handling of Personal Data

  1. Information on how entrants’ personal data may be used by the HKTB can be accessed at https://www.discoverhongkong.com/uk/about-hktb/privacy-policy.jsp.
  2. Without limitation, entrants’ personal data collected by the Promoter may be shared with the Prize Sponsor for the purposes explained in these Terms and/or processed by the Prize Sponsor on behalf of the Promoter in order to administer the Prize Competition and facilitate delivery of the Prize.
  3. Where data is shared by the Promoter with the Prize Sponsor as an independent data controller, the Prize Sponsor will determine the legal basis for any use of entrants’ personal data. Entrants should consult the Prize Sponsor to understand how their personal data may be used.
  4. The Promoter and Prize Sponsors may be required to share the personal data of the Prize Winner and the Travel Companion with nominated airlines, hotel and tour operator partners and other third parties for the purposes of redemption and facilitation of the Prize.
  5. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of residence of major prize winners (and, if applicable copies of their winning entries) to anyone who emails [email protected] within one month after the closing date of the Prize Competition.If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter by email to [email protected] or by correspondence to the address given above. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
  6. The Prize Winner and any companion may be required to participate in reasonable publicity and marketing activity as a condition of receiving the Prize. These activities (the “Publicity”) include but are not limited to: Social Media, Website Communications, Photography, Video or Film Recordings, Audio Recordings, Email Marketing.
  7. The Prize Winner acknowledges that the Promoter and Prize Sponsor have the right to use such Publicity in any medium and in any reasonable manner. Should any companion be required to take part in the stated promotional activity, express written consent to Publicity be sought by the Promoter and Prize Sponsor, and the Prize Winner acknowledges that receipt of this consent may be a condition to receiving or enjoying the continued benefit of the Prize.
  8. The collection and use of personal data from Entrants is also subject to Cathay Pacific’s Privacy Policy. Failure to provide personal data as requested will result in Cathay Pacific being unable to process or accept an entry or award the relevant Ticket.

Liability

  1. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
  2. During or in connection with this Campaign, if any entry data or Ticket offer notifications are lost, inaccurate, corrupted, unidentifiable or damaged, the Promoter and Prize Sponsor shall not have any liability in respect of any participant’s disqualification or failure to obtain or redeem a Ticket.
  3. Neither the Promoter or the Prize Sponsor nor its directors, employees, agents, or suppliers will have any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any Entrant or any other persons entering the Campaign or as a result of accepting any Ticket. the Promoter or the Prize Sponsor are not responsible for any medical conditions, costs, or expenses incurred or suffered by any Entrant or any other persons as a result of any event of force majeure; any problems or technical malfunctions; any software or email failure; or any combination thereof.
  4. By entering the Campaign, Entrants agree that no claim shall be asserted against the Promoter or the Prize Sponsor, its directors, officers, employees, or agents relating to any and all losses or injuries (including special, indirect, and consequential losses), damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind resulting from acceptance or use of any Ticket, including, without limitation,

Cathay Pacific:

The following conditions apply to the claim of the flights prize:

  1. The winning prize is two return Economy Class tickets to Hong Kong from London Heathrow or Manchester on Cathay Pacific Airways.
  2. The tickets can only be redeemed by the named winner. The tickets are not redeemable for cash, non-transferrable, non- endorsable, cannot be rerouted and must be used within validity. (2.A) All flights must be redeemed together with both passengers travelling together throughout the journey. (2.B) Winner must advise travellers’ full names as stated in passports including middle names when booking the flights.
  3. Winner must advise three choices of dates, which do not fall under the embargoed periods in point 4 to avoid disappointment.  Please provide some flexibility in your dates of travel as your preferred choice of dates may not be available. 
  4. Embargoed dates and restrictions apply.  These tickets are subject to embargo periods (e.g., Lunar New Year, Easter, summer peak, Christmas, and New Year). Further embargoed dates and restrictions may apply.
  5. These tickets are not entitled to earn any form of Asia Miles or other frequent flyer mileage and/or Cathay Status Points.
  6. The flights are valid for travel from 06/11/2025 until 06/11/2026 and must be booked at least one month before intended travel.
  7. Fuel surcharges, taxes and airport charges are included in the prize.
  8. Access to our lounge is not included.
  9. The winner and any other accompanying passenger are solely responsible for their own travel and medical insurance, valid passports, any necessary visas and any other relevant travel documentation, costs or requirements associated with their trip.
  10. The prize ticket holder is on a lower boarding priority than our normal fare paying passengers.  If the reserved flight becomes critically full, and/or other serious disruptions occur, there is a possibility that the prize ticket holder will not be accepted on board.  In this event, he/ she will not be entitled to any compensation.  Our airport staff will then include him/her on the booking list for the next available Cathay Pacific flight and, pursuant to the EC Regulation 261/2004, Denied Boarding Compensation is not applicable on free of charge or reduced fare tickets.
  11. If the prize ticket holder has booked additional services for his/ her trip – such as but not limiting to car hire, hotels, transfers, cruise, onward flights – he/ she is responsible for making any necessary changes to those services in case of delay, cancellation or denied boarding of the Cathay Pacific flight. Cathay Pacific will not accept any responsibility for those changes, or any additional expenses incurred.
  12. Once a booking is confirmed, no amendments to the reservations are permitted.
  13. The prize tickets are valid on Cathay Pacific Airways Limited operating flights only. Joint venture and codeshare services are excluded.
  14. Upgrade of travel class by use of cash or miles is not permitted.
  15. The prize ticket holder must be 18 or above prior to taking the trip unless he/she is accompanied by his/her parent or legal guardian.
  16. Cathay Pacific will not accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any participant entering the promotion.
